Paid Article Writing

There are a number of article writing sites, and Expertscolumn have been going strong for some time now.

They have proven themselves to be honest and they do whatever they can to help writers.  They also offer advice on effectively marketing articles, something which is lacking on a lot of sites.

Payments are made once you've reached $5 and are made via PayPal or Moneybookers.  My payment request was completed with a few days of making it.

Etsy

If you make your own products or create your own designs then Etsy is the site for you.  The site offers an affordable way of allowing people to sell their hand made craft items and designs online.

I've only recently started and have yet to add any items to my store but it seems to me a much more targeted way of selling your items.

People come to Etsy to look for unique, hand crafted items which they won't find anywhere else.  I've found items like this are less well suited to auction sites and I think Etsy is an ideal platform for selling your craft and design items.

For further information on selling your goods, you can visit: http://expertscolumn.com/content/setting-store-etsy for more details.

GAPbuster -Mystery Shopping

A while ago I used to complete mystery shopping work for Gapbuster.  The work can be irregular but the pay works out quite good, especially if you combine it with other mystery shopping tasks in the same area.

They offer a lot of retail visits and visits to fast food chains and restaurants, if I remember correctly, and when I was working for them pay started at £4.00 per assignment and also included a budget for paying for items.

GAPbuster is the world's largest mystery shopping company and have more than 200,000 registered shoppers.

You can find an application form here.

Get paid for surveys

I've joined many different survey companies in the past and the results are mixed.  Some have a low pay out and are a good way to earn some extra money while others either have high pay outs, the surveys aren't regular enough, or there are other issues.

Don't believe claims that you can get rich or make a full time income completing surveys - you can't. Surveys are too time consuming and the rewards too small for that but they do make an additional income.

I won't detail the sites I use because they might not suit other people but I thought I'd share the details of Crowdology as they look pretty good.

Crowdology are a UK-based survey company.  They offer a £4.00 pay out level and payments are made via PayPal.  Surveys pay from 50p - £10.00 and if you don't qualify for a survey then you'll be entered into a prize draw.

SwagBucks are based in the US and you earn points for searching with them.  You don't get paid for every search, just some of them.

Points for searching can vary from a few points to 50 plus and you can save the points up and cash out when you've reached enough.  You can exchange points for Internet vouchers, video games, Pay Pal payments and other prizes.

I usually save my points until I get to 750 and then I can claim a $5.00 Pay Pal payment.  I've been paid three times and they're a reliable company.
